It pleased the Father to bruise the Son on the Cross for our sake in order that we may be saved from destruction. Jesus died for our sake and bore our sins in order that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus, who knew no sin, was made sin for us that we might be made righteousness of God in Him.

All those who have received salvation by believing in Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior are the members of the Church, the body of Christ. The body is the Church and the head is Lord Jesus Christ. All those who are saved are baptized into one body “whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit”. Irrespective of man’s clan or lineage the only thing that matters is whether or not a person has accepted Lord Jesus Christ as his/her personal savior. All those who are saved by the precious blood of Christ are equal. This mystery was revealed in the New Testament as recorded in Ephesians 3:6 that Gentiles are given the privilege to be equal with Jews provided they confess their sins and accept Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.

When the Lord Himself descends from heaven with a shout with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, the dead in Christ will rise fist and then those who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet Him in the air. All those who are saved will be with the Lord for ever and ever but those who have not received salvation will be left behind on this earth. There will be Jews and there will be Gentiles among the left-behind.

Those who are caught to meet the Lord in the clouds will be with the transformed and glorified bodies. This transformation occurs in the twinkling of an eye. But those who are on the earth will still be in the earthly corruptible body. (1 Corinthians 15:52)

The Church, the bride of Christ and also the body of Christ consisting of those who are caught up into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air will reign for ever and ever. Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and said that she shall conceive in her womb and bring forth a Son, and His name shall be JESUS. “He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David” (Luke 1:31-32)

The prophecy in Luke 1:33 that “he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end” will be fulfilled in the thousand year reign of Lord Jesus Christ and those who blessed and saved and caught up to be with the Lord shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with Him.

“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years”. (Revelation 20:6)

(Ref. 1 Corinthians 12:13, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 3:6, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
