“Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist” (Colossians 1:15-17)

“Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?” (John 14:9)

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Hebrews 1:1-2)

Bible says God spoke to the children of Israel by the mouth of the Prophets in the Old Testament period. The LORD sent His only son Jesus, who in His incarnation, lived among men and He spoke the Word of the Father to all. The Father appointed Jesus, His only Son, as heir of all things, by whom also the LORD made the worlds.

There are differing views about the author of the Book of Hebrews. Some believe that Apostle Paul, although not named as writer of the Book of Hebrews, yet going by the style of writing,  is the writer; and some contradict that view. Whoever was the human writer, what is important for us is the inspired Scriptures of God.

The writer, inspired by the Holy Spirit, emphasizes the veracity of the Word of the LORD to Jews, who were converted to Christianity, that the words of Lord Jesus are superior over Mosaic Law. Old Testament sacrifices are no more needed, because Jesus died on our behalf, as sacrifice once and for all. The writer wrote these words in order to see that those who found the truth may not defect to Judaism. The Writer specifically points to the superiority of Jesus and His nature, and His deity even though He was fully man in this world.

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Hebrews 1:3)

Lord Jesus Christ is the radiance and express imprint of the Father. He upholds all things by the word of His power, and after He offered Himself as sacrifice for the sins of the world, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on High. While the Lord offered His blood as propitiation, salvation is available only to those who confess by mouth that He is the Lord, and believe in heart that God raised Him from the death on the third day.

Mark the Gospel writer writes that the Lord was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God

Luke the Gospel writer, a physician, a companion of Apostle Paul writes that the ‘Son of man’ sits on the right hand of God

Jesus, through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God. He purges our conscience from dead works to serve the living God (Cf. 2 Corinthians 4:4, Mark 16:19, Luke 22:69)
