GIVING THANKS TO GOD
“Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness” (Psalms 29:1-2)
David found grace in the sight of the LORD and calls mighty men of valor to come unto the LORD and give glory due unto His name, and to worship Him in the beauty of His Holiness.
God spoke to His servants in different ways in different times; sometimes in thunder, and sometimes in small still voice. He spoke from the burning bush to Moses, His servant. He spoke from the mercy seat to the High Priest in the Tabernacle, and in small still voice to Elijah, the prophet. God spoke by the mouth of Prophets namely Jeremiah, Isaiah, and many more, and in the last days He spoke through His one and only Son, Lord Jesus Christ. The LORD’s voice was upon the waters, His glory was in the thunders, and His voice was powerful.
