The Holy Bible, which is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, was under attack for many centuries now.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. (John 1:1)
With the passage of time the Word of God is revealed through various men of God; however, it was in the beginning, and it was with God, and the Word as God. His Word rises for the oppression of the poor, for the relief of the needy, and to set them in safety. They are as pure as silver tried in a furnace of earth seven times.
Bible is a collection of sixty six Books; 39 of the Old Testament and 27 or the New Testament. Forty men wrote the books of the Bible, spanning a period of about 1600 years, from time period of Moses (1500 BC) to the time period of John (AD 97), who wrote the Book of Revelation.
Forty men who wrote the books were Kings, Poets, Shepherds and Philosophers. Even though one writer did not know the other, every scribe was guided and supervised by the Holy Spirit, and that is the reason why the Bible has become so great book in the world. Not a single book lasted so long as the Bible did, and yet it is so pure and fresh. Repeated listening of the messages from the Bible does not wear us out, but it refreshes our souls and minds.
“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:21)
When Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury he ordered the furnace to be heated seven times more than it usually is heated. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who were thrown into that fiery furnace, came out of it without being harmed.
Similarly, even though the word of God is tested to the best of fury of its opponents, it comes out purified greatly to increase in abundance (cf. Daniel 3:19; Psalms 12:6; Psalms 12:5)
